Aside from the wondrous world of Anime, I am a huge nerd for old Sword and Sorcery and Sword and Planet novels. These are stories about a singular character challenging the unknown, most of the time only with a sword or gun by their side. This singular character will face foes such as aliens, dinosaurs, unknown tribes, and countless other spectacular enemies. Conan the Barbarian by Robert E. Howard and John Carter of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroghs, were two of my main influences as to how the story would be structured. Instead of a singular man fighting a group of enemies I decided to make the story focus around a group of people challenging a group of enemies. However, I cut the novel up into short stories so the readers could get a clear focus of each of the groups of agents and their personal struggles during their adventures.
